Prospects for the EU in 2024
Foreign policy, immigration, AI and elections will be dominant themes in EU politics over the next year.
EU affairs in 2024 will be dominated by foreign policy concerns surrounding the wars in Gaza and Ukraine and the campaigns for and outcomes of the European Parliament (EP) elections in June. In addition, such issues as immigration and AI regulation, and how to address them, look set to feature prominently at the EU level over the coming months.
