In our State of Government Affairs 2022 industry report, we surveyed hundreds of professionals in government relations, public policy, corporate and external affairs, public affairs, and grassroots and advocacy roles, representing every industry in the global economy. From companies on the Fortune 500 list to the largest trade associations and nonprofits, our respondents provided insights into the current state of the government relations industry and gave their predictions for 2022 and beyond.
We asked participants what was bothering them in their jobs, the tools they rely on, and what their vision for the future of their industry might look like. This year, in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the increasingly important focus on mental health and job satisfaction, we asked new questions to highlight the impact of emerging issues.
