FiscalNote Global Intelligence is pleased to invite you to a briefing looking at Egypt’s political and social stability post-election. On 10-12 December, Egyptians will take to the polls to select a new president. The incumbent Abdel Fatah Al-Sisi is near certain to secure a third term, but there are concerns about the government’s willingness and ability to enact needed economic reforms, especially structural ones, to mitigate against a crisis in 2024.

The briefing will address the state’s ability to maintain stability in what is likely to be a pivotal period in 2024 and beyond. This is especially in the face of the worst economic conditions facing the country in several decades. This event brings together experts from across FiscalNote Global Intelligence, including Dragonfly, FrontierView and Oxford Analytica.

In this webinar, we will cover:

  • Egypt’s economic forecast for 2024
  • The outlook for regime instability and civil unrest risks
  • An assessment of Egypt’s standing with international partners and creditors

The webinar will include an opportunity for you to pose questions to our panel.
