Jason Dick
Editor in Chief, CQ and Roll Call
Jason is the editor in chief of CQ and Roll Call, with three decades of experience in political journalism, including covering congressional and presidential elections dating back to 1998. He is the host of Roll Call’s Political Theater podcast, a regular guest host on SiriusXM’s POTUS channel and is the author of the book “Under the Dome: The View from the Center of American Democracy with Capitol Hill's Source for News.”
Jason is a board member of the Washington Press Club Foundation; a member of the Gridiron Club, the oldest and most prestigious journalistic organization in Washington, and previously served as an elected representative for the Executive Committee of Periodical Correspondents, representing the interests of journalists in the U.S. Capitol. He also previously served on the 401K Committee for The Economist Group, acting as a fiduciary on behalf of employees in the Group’s retirement program.
Prior to his time joining CQ and Roll Call and FiscalNote, he worked at National Journal, where he served in a number of positions, including editor in chief of National Journal Daily. He also has taught English at the high school and university levels, and was an AmeriCorps Promise Fellow in West Virginia.
Jason holds an MA in English and a BS in Political Science from Northern Arizona University.
