Janine Lydon

Janine is a strategic, people-centric leader with over 20 years of expertise in human resources and talent management, and a proven track record of leading organizational change and culture transformation, driving operational improvements in workforce planning and performance, and streamlining processes to support complex global organizations. As our Vice President, People, she leads the global people strategy to align talent, performance, and culture with business growth and operational priorities at FiscalNote. Janine oversees core HR functions  - including organizational development, talent management, people operations and total rewards - and provides strategic leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, succession, union negotiations, and acquisition and divestitures. She also drives manager effectiveness and leads internal communications.

Before joining FiscalNote in 2023, she served as Manager of Talent Acquisition & Culture at ESG where she was responsible for driving end-to-end HR initiatives, including payroll, compensation and benefits, performance management, and wellness programs across global jurisdictions. Prior to ESG, she held HR leadership roles at Amazing Charts and Home Market Foods, advising on talent selection, employee relations, and global workforce sustainability.

Janine holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing & Communications from Bryant University and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
