As the Publisher of CQ Roll Call and Vice President of Content, Steve manages all aspects of FiscalNote’s policy analysis and data from the local to international level. With over 25 years of experience in the public policy sector, he brings a deep understanding of government relations and strategic communications complexities and challenges to his role.
Steve's career is marked by an eight-year tenure in the U.S. Senate, where he honed his expertise in national security and the authorization and appropriations processes. Post-Congress, he transitioned to the private sector, managing government relations programs and serving as a subject matter expert on politics, procedures, and the personalities that drive it.
Steve has a BA in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a MA in International Business and Policy from Georgetown University.
