FiscalNote Appoints Chris Lafferty as Chief Product Officer and Senior Vice President
Lafferty to spearhead a unified R&D focus for the media and technology company
WASHINGTON, D.C., January 29, 2020 -- FiscalNote, a global technology and media company, today announced that Chris Lafferty will now serve as Chief Product Officer and Senior Vice President. In this role, Lafferty will lead the collective product and technology teams, driving innovation across the business. He will oversee a united research and development team that includes product, engineering, data operations and data science research groups. His appointment will help propel FiscalNote’s success, innovation, and superior client support forward over the coming years.
Lafferty joined FiscalNote in early 2019 and previously served as the Vice President of Product, overseeing the product management, user experience, and design teams. Under his leadership, Lafferty strengthened and scaled the various product functions to enable the business to create and deliver industry solutions to more than four thousand clients.

Prior to joining FiscalNote, Lafferty spent more than 11 years in the legal technology industry helping to grow Practical Law US, which was acquired by Thomson Reuters in 2013. He began his career as an attorney in the capital markets and M&A practice groups at Allen & Overy.
