Dr. Laila Mintas is an authority in the design, regulation and commercialization of prediction markets. She brings more than two decades of hands-on experience building and advising regulated betting and prediction platforms, with a track record spanning sports, iGaming, and digital markets, including leadership roles at Sportradar (SRAD), FIFA, and CONCACAF. Dr. Mintas will advise FiscalNote on market credibility, regulatory considerations, and go-to-market strategy as it develops its political prediction offerings.
Randall Boe
Randall Boe of leading global law firm Akin will advise FiscalNote on go-to-market strategy, compliance, and partnerships. Mr. Boe brings a rare combination of regulatory, commercial, and operator-level experience across professional sports, including betting. He previously served as General Counsel of Monumental Sports & Entertainment (owner of the NBA’s Washington Wizards and NHL’s Washington Capitals) and as Commissioner of the Arena Football League. His experience will help accelerate and inform FiscalNote’s approach to market structure, partnerships, and growth as lessons from the world of sports are applied to this nascent market.
Can Babaoglu
Can Babaoglu is the Chief Product Officer at FiscalNote, managing product strategy and delivery for policy, regulatory, legal, and strategic and operational risk markets. He brings almost two decades of product development, product management, and product-led growth experience to his role as a member of FiscalNote’s senior leadership team. Prior to FiscalNote, Can was Vice President for Product at Casetext, which was acquired by Thomson Reuters for $650 million in 2023.
Josh Resnik
Josh Resnik serves as FiscalNote’s Chief Executive Officer & President, with more than twenty-five years of experience as an executive, attorney, and business leader in both startup and established corporate environments. Prior to joining FiscalNote, Josh was a senior executive and member of the Board of Directors of Spree Commerce, led the Digital division of Gannett, and was a senior in-house attorney at AOL. Josh has been named to Washingtonian Magazine's "Tech Titans" list three times and has advised numerous tech startups as well as a venture capital firm investing in the tech and media ecosystem.
