Nguyen brings more than 15 years’ experience in startup and tech industry, and will manage expansion of FiscalNote’s product offerings
Washington D.C., May 23, 2018 – FiscalNote, a technology company that connects organizations around the world to their governments, today announced the promotion of Ylang Nguyen to Vice President of Product. Nguyen was most recently the Director and Head of Product at FiscalNote, where she was tasked with elevating the company’s platform for existing and potential clients. In her new role, Nguyen will oversee product strategy which includes leading the next phase of FiscalNote offerings and coordinating solutions that address client needs.
Nguyen joined FiscalNote in September 2017 to implement a plan for re- conceptualizing the company’s data platform for customers in the government affairs industry. She steered a meaningful strategy that allowed FiscalNote to navigate and eventually claim a sizable portion of the government affairs intelligence market. Under Nguyen’s leadership, the company has streamlined and improved its offerings for customers and empowered them to manage their response to increasingly complex global, national and local issues.
“Ylang’s expertise in product development and management has been instrumental in driving an exciting and transformative phase of the company,” said Tim Hwang, Founder and CEO of FiscalNote. “She has a nuanced understanding of how organizations can use FiscalNote’s platform to make sense of an intricate global ecosystem, and that will be reflected in the future of the company.”
Nguyen lends more than 15 years’ experience in product management and business development to her role at FiscalNote. As a veteran of the technology industry, Nguyen was the Director of Operations at e-Dialog, a London startup that was acquired by eBay Enterprise Solutions, where she grew her team from 2 to 100 employees in 36 months. She has also previously held leadership roles at two digital agencies, AKQA and Digitas.
“I am proud to work with my colleagues at FiscalNote to help our clients manage the impact, and their response, to the global issues facing organizations today,” said Ylang Nguyen, Vice President of Product. “Organizations can no longer function as they did five, or even three years ago to manage complex issues at every level. I look forward to continuing to enhance FiscalNote’s technology solutions that will serve as a strategic partner to clients as they navigate a complex and global issues landscape.”
